TWS Birth Charts

PLEDIS Entertainment's six-member group, read through Korean astrology. Each chart is built from the member's birth date — year, month and day pillar.

Lineup note. Four of the six have a Wood day master — three 甲 and one 乙. That is an unusually concentrated group chart, and it shows in how the members read against each other.

How to read these charts

Each member's card shows their day pillar — the two characters that sit at the centre of a Korean astrology reading. The first of those two is the Day Master, which is the single most important thing in a chart and the closest equivalent to what a star sign does in Western astrology, except that it comes from the birth day rather than the birth month.

Open any member to see their full year, month and day pillars, what the chart says about personality, and how they fit alongside the rest of the group.

What is Korean astrology?

Korean astrology, called Saju (사주) and known in English as the Four Pillars of Destiny, reads a person from their exact birth moment rather than from a birth month alone. Four pillars, eight characters, five elements.

On method. A complete chart needs a birth time. Idol birth times are not public, so these readings work from three pillars rather than four, and say so rather than filling the gap with a guess. Your own reading uses all four.
